The application is open for the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2025. The WBG Youth Summit is the largest annual event for youth worldwide, organized and hosted by the World Bank Group (WBG) at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C., USA, and across various regions, to engage with youth globally on the most pressing issues facing their generation.

Now in its 12th edition, this year’s summit focuses on climate action, digital transformation, and creative industries, fostering innovation and collaboration. It will be held on May 19-20, 2025.

The objective of the summit: 

• Empowering  youth to explore innovative ideas to tackle development challenges​
• Provide youth with the tools to build and engage in impactful projects​
• Promote dialogue between youth, the WBG, and other key stakeholders globally.

The 2025 World Bank Group Youth Summit’s theme is “New Horizons: Youth-Led Innovation for a Livable Planet,” and activities and interactions will take place worldwide.

The summit’s main discussion is around solutions that foster the following:

• Digital Transformation and Data: How youth use AI and big data to boost economic growth, close the digital gap, and shape a future-ready workforce.
• Climate Action and Resilience: Youth-driven innovations in green tech, smart cities, and sustainable agriculture to tackle climate change and create jobs.
• Creative Industries: The impact of arts, media, and fashion on jobs, sustainability, and cultural heritage preservation.
