Type A (Full Scholarship):

    • Undergraduate: RMB 20,000 – 27,000 per year
    • Master’s: RMB 25,000 – 39,000 per year
    • PhD: RMB 38,000 – 45,000 per year
  2. Accommodation Allowance
    • RMB 8,400 – 12,000 per year
  3. Living Allowance
    • Undergraduate: RMB 30,000 per year
    • Master’s: RMB 36,000 per year
    • PhD: RMB 42,000 per year
  4. Medical Insurance
    • RMB 800 per year

Type B (Partial Scholarship):

  1. Tuition Coverage
    • Undergraduate: RMB 20,000 – 27,000 per year
    • Master’s: RMB 25,000 – 45,000 per year
    • PhD: RMB 38,000 – 45,000 per year
  2. Medical Insurance
    • RMB 800 per year

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who meet the following requirements can apply for this scholarship:

  • Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good health
  • Educational background and age limits:
    • Undergraduate applicants: High school diploma, under 25 years old
    • Master’s applicants: Bachelor’s degree, under 35 years old
    • PhD applicants: Master’s degree, under 40 years old
    • Pre-college program: High school diploma, under 23 years old, with a pre-admission letter from a Shanghai university
  • Applicants should have outstanding academic performance
  • Generally requires HSK4 (Chinese Proficiency Test) or university-specific language requirements
  • Must meet the entry requirements of the selected university and program
  • Cannot hold other Chinese government or organizational scholarships
