Opportunity Description

Are you willing to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Oxford or other prestigious institutions worldwide for the 2025-2026 academic year? Do you seek personalized mentorship to guide you through the application process for graduate programs and scholarships? If you have been affected by displacement, such as being a refugee, asylum seeker, internally displaced person (IDP), or stateless, Graduate Horizons offers a unique opportunity tailored just for you.

Graduate Horizons is a global application support program launched by Oxford’s Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) for prospective students impacted by displacement. This program aims to assist students who have completed or are nearing the completion of their bachelor’s degree and are preparing to apply for master’s programs starting in late 2025. Selected participants will receive 1:1 mentorship from current graduate students or Oxford alums, who will guide course selection, application processes, and scholarship opportunities.

Participants in the Graduate Horizons program will also benefit from the workshop series designed to enhance their application materials. These workshops, scheduled from October to November 2024, will cover topics like selecting the right university and degree, crafting compelling personal statements, and preparing CVs and other required documents. Additionally, information sessions will provide further insights into the program and available support.
