Opportunity Description

The poorest countries have the lowest female education rates. According to UNESCO, Somalia in Africa and unfortunately Afghanistan in Asia have the fewest educated girls, and much work has to be done.

Girls do well in countries with a large proportion of female students. In Latin America, Europe, East Asia, and the United States, girls’ enrollment rates in secondary education and universities have surpassed their male counterparts, demonstrating that females can excel if given the opportunity. However, women account for two-thirds of the world’s illiterate adults. Poor women in rural areas are far more likely to be illiterate.

However, certain organizations, universities, and schools have created chances for women who have been deprived of an education; don’t fear, we’ve identified some for you!
