The University of Toronto Lester B. Pearson Scholarship is now accepting applications for its 2025 academic year. These scholarships are given yearly to honor deserving students worldwide, including foreigners attending Canadian high schools. This is the most renowned and competitive scholarship available to overseas students at U of T. For four years, complete housing support, tuition, books, and incidentals are all included in the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships. The grant is exclusively valid for first-year undergraduate programs at the University of Toronto. The number of Lester B. Pearson Scholars will be around 37 every year.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be an international student requiring a study permit
• Enrolled in the final year of secondary school in 2024/2025 or graduated no earlier than June 2024
• Beginning undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025
• Cannot be already attending post-secondary studies or starting post-secondary studies in January 2025 at another institution

How to Apply?

1. Receive Nomination: Ask your school guidance counselor to nominate you.
2. Apply to U of T: Submit your application to study at the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024.
3. Complete Scholarship Application: After nomination, a secure link to the scholarship application will be sent to you. Complete and submit it by November 8, 2024.
4. Submit Documentation: Ensure all required documents are submitted online by the specified deadline.
