Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet these general requirements:
- Applicants for PhD courses must have a master’s degree (Italian Decree 270/2004), a four-year university degree, or an equivalent international qualification.
- Candidates obtaining the required qualification by October 31, 2024, may apply if they self-certify by this date.
- All candidates’ self-certified declarations are subject to verification; false statements can lead to exclusion from the course and criminal liability.
- International graduates with the required qualification (or in the process of obtaining it) can apply for reserved positions but not ordinary positions.
- Foreign degrees must be translated and submitted online for eligibility assessment by the admissions committee.
- Admission requires applying for a certificate of equivalence for a residence visa.
- Scholarship holders from foreign states or international programs may be selected by international panels and are admitted by right upon passing selection tests.
