Eligibility Criteria

  • Organizations led by representatives of the focus population served are eligible.
  • Only non-profit organizations are funded by MSD for Mothers.
  • City and state health departments, government entities, hospitals, political organizations, and discriminatory entities are not eligible.
  • Grant up to USD 250,000 must not exceed 50% of the annual operating budget.
  • Grant agreement execution is mandatory for eligibility.
  • Ineligible expenses include the following:
    • Commercial activities
    • Engagement purposes with government officials,
    • Healthcare provider payments,
    • Durable goods purchase
    • Capital expenses
    • Unrelated supplies/equipment
    • Staff salaries
