Afghan Family Guidance Association (AFGA) is accepting applications for the position of MHT Project Consultant. The Mobile Health Team (MHT) Consultant will be crucial in overseeing the delivery of health services by mobile health teams, assessing and analyzing their operating procedures, and spotting any areas where services are lacking. The primary duties of the role will be to supervise the delivery of services and to make suggestions for improving the services and MHT regulations. The incumbent will lead field excursions and offer feedback on services in cooperation with UNFPA and AFGA.

Since its foundation, AFGA has worked in the area of reproductive health and rights, and it recently joined the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) as an associate member.

  • Graduated from a medical school that is recognized.
  • Experience in MHTs, BPHS, and reproductive health services for at least five years, especially in emergency-related activities.
  • Experience working with RMNCAH on emergency-related projects is a bonus.
  • Effective communication abilities are necessary.
  • English that is spoken and written with ease.
  • Experience with the GBV sub-cluster, the health cluster, and the RMNCAH working group is a plus.
