About Hello Tomorrow

A group of people who were confident that science might improve the world in 2011 founded Hello Tomorrow. They believed that the traditional paradigm of technology transfer, which aims to convey innovations from the lab to the market and from concept to effect, was inadequate to meet this task. Since then, they have established the broadest and greatest Deep Tech network and assisted Deep Tech businesses and startups in developing fresh solutions.

About Global Challenge

Since 2014, Hello Tomorrow has run the renowned global startup competition known as The Global Challenge. It is specifically created to meet the demands of early-stage deep tech firms in various sectors. The Challenge provides worldwide deep tech and science-based entrepreneurs with a platform for their ventures, opening doors to equity-free finance, visibility on a large scale, and relationships with influential figures in the deep tech ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria

• Not a spinoff or subsidiary of an established business.
• A group comprising at least two individuals.
• Based on novel engineering techniques, a scientific breakthrough, or new technology.
• Addressing an unfulfilled demand in industry, society, or the environment, or developing a new market.

The Judging Process

Three unique phases make up the judgment process. At each stage, applicants will be updated on the status:

• Finalists: The jury selects around 6 Finalists per track. These Finalists will be invited to pitch during the Grand Finals at the Summit in Paris.
• Deep Tech Pioneers: Based on the strength of their online applications, the jury chooses the finest entrepreneurs and welcomes them to the Deep Tech Pioneers group so they may immediately take use of the various perks.
• Track Winners and Grand Winner: Following their presentations at the Summit, a jury comprised of investors, corporates, scientists, and other subject-matter experts chooses the Track Winners and, in the end, the Grand Winner.

To be considered for the Global Challenge, submit your application by September 23rd at 23:59 Pacific time. Unfortunately, they are unable to give submission deadline extensions due to the volume of applications they receive and their busy schedule.
