International Programs
The Eisenhower Global Fellowship 2025 has three international programs as follows:
- Spring Global Program: For four to five weeks of intense professional discovery, engagement, and exchange, the Spring Global Program invites 20 to 25 mid-career executives from as many nations to the United States. A combined lecture with the other Fellows in that year’s cohort kicks off and wraps up each unique itinerary, which includes several online components. Each Fellow has a unique itinerary that takes them to eight to ten nationwide locations for between 70 to 100 virtual and in-person meetings with business CEOs, senior government and NGO leaders, and professionals in their fields of interest.
- Fall Program: About 20–25 leaders are brought to the United States by the fall program for a theme program that is especially suited to a particular area or field of expertise. These Fellows travel independently across the nation on virtual and physical itineraries that begin. They conclude with lengthy opening and closing lectures with their cohorts that provide chances for deep engagement, reflections, project preparation, and interpersonal bonds. These profoundly connected experiences support the program’s emphasis on developing partnerships and creating a close network of like-minded leaders in nations confronting comparable difficulties.
- Eisenhower Fellowships Special Programs: Eisenhower Fellowships occasionally sends an extra 10 to 15 Fellows to the country for special programs that last four to six weeks and allow them to interact with American thought leaders in their particular professions. In 2018, 10 Saudi Fellows, seven women, were sent to the United States as part of a specific Saudi Arabian program. Eisenhower Fellows, who spent much time together, developed trusting bonds that allowed them to immediately negotiate the prosperous 1997 Good Friday Agreement while seated across from one another. Their different contributions to dealing with and upholding the agreement that ended the island’s violent sectarian strife and brought about more than two decades of peace serve as a testament to the effectiveness and significance of EF’s initiatives.
