Opportunity Description

The Internet Society’s Mid-Career Fellowship applications are open for Internet leaders worldwide. This program provides them with the knowledge and skills to manage digital change and disruption in a time of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA).

This unique seven-month program offers 15 Fellows access to top educational institutions and experts. It focuses on inclusive, innovative, and strategic leadership in a VUCA world (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity). Through five modules with live lectures, assessments, and seminars, participants delve into digital geopolitics, leadership in turbulent environments, and effective advocacy.

Key areas covered include Internet properties, digital transformation, strategic foresight, design thinking, and decision-making. The program culminates in a symposium where fellows showcase their work.

  • Problem-solving, teamwork in multi-stakeholder settings, and a desire to gain new knowledge.
  • Available for a seven-month program, dedicating around six hours per week.
  • Reliable broadband Internet and necessary devices.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.
