For the 2025/26 academic year, the University of Dundee will offer the Al-Maktoum College Living Support Scholarship to assist postgraduate students enrolled in particular Islamic financial courses.
This scholarship program encourages academic achievement and international collaboration by supporting postgraduate international students at the University of Dundee interested in Islamic finance studies.
For this opportunity, applicants do not require a separate application form. The Scholarships team determines eligibility by reviewing the applicant’s course entrance application and scholarship status. On the other hand, candidates might have to attach a personal statement to their application.

- Al-Maktoum College Dundee, in collaboration with the University of Dundee, offers living support bursaries for applicants enrolling in an MSc Islamic Finance course (or pathway) in the 2025–2026 academic year.
- After you begin your study, the £3,000 scholarship will be paid in ten installments of £300 each.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the bursary, you have to:
- Have an invitation to study, either unconditional or conditional:
- International Business and Islamic Finance MSc
- Islamic Banking and Finance MSc
- Islamic Banking, Finance, and International Business MSc
- Islamic Finance MSc
- Commence your education in September of 2025.
- Having already received one of the following scholarships from the University of Dundee:
- Scholarship for Global Citizenship
- Scholarship for Global Excellence
- Scholarship for Regional Vice Chancellors
- Students at International College Dundee must have either received one of the aforementioned scholarships or the International College Dundee Progressing with Excellence Scholarship to be eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship.
- Maintain ‘International’ Fee Standing

How to Apply?
This bursary does not have a separate application form. Their Admissions staff will determine your eligibility, and if you are qualified for this bursary, they will send you an official notification.
Once you enroll at Dundee, the Admissions team will contact Al-Maktoum College to verify your scholarship.
