• Understanding of Afghan law and policy needs.
• Ability to support and communicate with many colleagues, including NGO workers at the Director level.
• Capability to create, update, and apply policies.
• Capability to follow directions and seek assistance as necessary.
• When representing ACBAR, be kind and respectful.
• Capability to estimate work time and travel budgets. Capability to evaluate papers and processes and then approve or propose changes. • The ability to transmit meeting specifics and other information to coworkers and management. Language proficiency is required to speak and write English; Dari and Pashto are encouraged.
• A bachelor’s degree is necessary, but a master’s degree is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree requires at least eight years of professional experience.
• For a Master’s degree, you must have at least five years of professional experience.
