Benefits and Financial Aids

• Successful applicants will receive project grants of $5,000 each, generously provided by MPB.

• You cannot utilize the grant to support the production of books, exhibitions, workshops, or other secondary materials.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Submission is open to women, nonbinary, transgender, and intersex documentary photographers of any nationality.
• Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Women Photograph, which prioritizes inclusivity and support for photographers from diverse backgrounds.
• No membership with Women Photograph is required to apply.
• Submission is free of cost
• Applicants may submit only one entry per open call.
• Applications must be in English, but translations using services like Google Translate are accepted.
• There are no restrictions on the type of camera equipment used.
• Grantees will retain full ownership of their completed work.
