Application is open for the Gates Scholarship (TGS) program 2024. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation offers significant number of scholarships each year to study in the USA. The main purpose of this scholarship is to help outstanding minority students who come from low-income backgrounds realize their maximum potential. Eliminating the financial barriers to college, a last-dollar scholarship can enable high potential, low-income minority students to develop their leadership skills. The Gates Scholarship (TGS) programis a very competitive and full scholarship started in 2017.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants meeting the following criteria can apply to the Gates Scholarship:

Be a high school senior
From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian and Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American
Be eligible for Pell Grants, a subsidy the U.S. federal government
Be A US Citizen, national or permanent resident
Have a good academic record with GPA of 3.3 on 4.0 scale
Plan to enroll in a full-time, four-year degree program at an accredited Not for profit, Private or Public college or university in the US.
