Job Overview:   

As the Social Media Manager at Scholarship for Afghanistan, you will play a pivotal role in managing our online presence across various social media platforms. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging content, designing visual assets, and fostering community engagement.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Designing captivating graphics for social media posts, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials. 
• Creating and posting visual content across various platforms. 
• Engaging with the audience, answering questions, and fostering community interaction. 
• Developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement. 
• Curating content for platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and telegram. 
• Monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and messages. 
• Analyzing metrics to optimize content performance. 
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices.  

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar graphic design tools. 
• Strong written and spoken English skills; proficiency in written Persian. 
• Basic understanding of social media platforms. 
• Demonstrated expertise in social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively through visual design and written content. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
• A passion for education, youth empowerment, and making a positive impact in Afghanistan. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
• Attention to detail.  
• Knowledge of written Pashto language is a plus. 
• Access to stable internet connection and place to be used for the work.  

Desirable Skills: 

• Previous experience in social media management. 
• Education or training in communication, journalism, or digital media. 
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
