The  One Young World offers The Movistar – 42 Madrid Digital Inclusion Scholarship 2022 to attend OYW Summit in the United Kingdom.

Telefónica Hispanoamérica joined  One Young World to launch the Digital Inclusion Scholarship for the first time in 2021. Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela were among the countries represented by the Digital Inclusion Scholarship. While representing Telefonica in various nations, these young leaders virtually attended the One Young World 2021 Summit. They established the Digital Inclusion Community Taskforce to coordinate the activities of numerous Latin American countries to build an initiative that may have a significant impact regardless of geographical borders.

The goal will be to collaborate with vulnerable people on education and digital integration. As a result, Telefónica will continue its relationship with One Young World to help young leaders in technology, innovation, digital skills, inclusiveness, and education in Latin American rural areas, building on the success of the 2021 initiative. They are also thrilled to announce that Fundación Telefónica’s “42 Madrid” will participate in the digital inclusion scholarship this year. The chosen young leaders will have the opportunity to attend this year’s 2022 Summit, which will be held in person in Manchester, United Kingdom, from September 5-8.

Benefits of Movistar – 42 Madrid Digital Inclusion Scholarship:

• Access to the One Young World Summit in Manchester in 2022
• Membership in the OYW community for life
• Hotel accommodations in a private room from the 5th to the 8th (inclusive). The Summit will take place in September 2022.
• One night’s hotel stay (if necessary) for the visa application process
• The cost of transportation to and from Manchester (flights in economy)
• Costs of domestic travel to the airport to catch an overseas flight (flight in economy)
• Visit the visa application process (if required)
• If applicable, visa fees (including visa costs and travel needed for visa appointment) ­
• Catering covers breakfast at the hotel and lunch and dinner at the Summit.
• 7 days of daily expenses (£15 each day)
• Travel insurance from September 3 to September 9, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Aged 18 to 30 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2022, which will be held on September 5-8, 2022.
• Led a program to close the digital divide in Latin American rural communities.
• Lead an effort with a strong emphasis on innovation.
• The initiative’s influence has been demonstrated.
• Leadership ability must be demonstrated.
• Engagement and possible benefit to the communities or areas to which he or she belongs
• Willingness to participate entirely with Movistar Delegates.
• Inspiration to take part in One Young World.
