The L’Oréal-UNESCO Young Talents for Women in Science Award 2022 is now accepting applications. The award aims to encourage and support young women’s participation in scientific research. This program recognizes and awards outstanding young female researchers in the biological and environmental sciences, material sciences, mathematics, computer & information sciences, engineering, & technology. More than fifty-five endowments have been awarded to youngi female researchers for the quality of their research work since its inception. For the 15th edition, 5 endowments will be given to encourage young female researchers in Ph.D. or post-doctoral studies to pursue a successful scientific career.

Final Selection: October 14, 2022

Award:

• Each award recipient will receive an amount of up to 100,000 Euros.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The Ph.D. candidates who are selected will each receive a €10,000 endowment.
• Be enrolled in at least the 2nd year of a PhD (female doctoral candidates)
• Be enrolled in post-doctoral studies & have defended their thesis before the call for applications (post-doctoral candidates)
• Have no permanent position prior to earning the Award.
• Be able to carry out your research work in the following countries Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya, in the fields of life & environmental sciences, matter, engineering, mathematics, computer, and information sciences.
