Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have the followings:

• Candidates must be in good health and non-Chinese nationals.
• Candidates for doctoral programs should be under 40 years old, while applicants for master’s degrees should be under 35.
• Candidates must not be recipients of any other Chinese government scholarships.

Documents Requirement:

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must upload the files listed below:

• filled the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completely, the form can be downloaded from the main website mentioned below.; it must be completed in either Chinese or English, and the report is good for six months.
• In lieu of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, applicants who are presently residing in China may submit their Residence Permit or Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card.
• The Chinese Government scholarship application guidelines state that candidates for Category B awards are limited to selecting one university. To submit the application, please make sure to choose “Fudan University” in the CSC system. After that, upload the CSC application form to their university’s application system.

Important Notes:

• It is necessary for new scholarship recipients to register at Fudan University on the day mentioned on their admissions notice.
• If a student arrives late without getting permission beforehand, their scholarship will be automatically canceled.
• New scholarship recipients have to take part in the yearly assessment. Scholarship recipients who don’t fulfill the requirements will have their awards revoked.
• Changes to the major or study period are not permitted for new scholarship recipients.
• Scholarships provided by the Chinese government shall not be funded by other scholarships (excluding all sorts of one-time prizes) established by the Chinese governments at all levels and the admitted university at the same time. Once found, the Chinese Government Scholarship qualification will be terminated and the Chinese Government Scholarship obtained shall be repaid.
• In addition to being disqualified, those who knowingly withhold their financial assistance will not be eligible to apply for Chinese Government Scholarships for three years.
