They will provide programming focused on social entrepreneurship and political leadership in 2024, in addition to teaching effective leadership techniques to one another and to experts. Along with other changemakers, fellows will participate in targeted learning on knowledge and skills unique to their industry. Vital Voices also hopes to use the fellowship to foster cross-issue collaboration and to maximize the creative potential of women leaders tackling important issues that disproportionately impact women and girls.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the Global Fellowship fellows must meet the following criteria:

• Women are eligible for this fellowship, including all persons who identify as women.
• Able to communicate in English
• Have attained the age of eighteen
• Demonstrated dedication to the basic leadership values of Vital Voices: creative, cooperative, and purpose-driven; has deep roots in her community; and is dedicated to bridging divides.
• Commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals that has been shown
• Be prepared to dedicate yourself to taking part in the fellowship and interacting with a variety of international women leaders.
• Fulfill the requirements for the pillar they are applying to.

Expectitions:

• Participate in all online training sessions from June 2024 to March 2025, finish all assigned readings, and make any additional phone calls or interactions with fellows, program staff, or trainers.
  • Eight hours are typically committed each month.
  • Online classes are usually held from 8 am to 11 am US EST and last one to two hours. Two to three online sessions will be held each month.
• Participate in the full in-person event in Fall 2024 (specific dates to be revealed on the main website of announcement).
• Send surveys within three years of the program’s conclusion.
