Opportunity Description

The St. Gallen Symposium Global Essay Competition 2025 is now accepting submissions from young international leaders. This international student essay competition invites young leaders worldwide to apply for a spot at the St. Gallen Symposium.

Scarcity is defined as a scenario in which human needs exceed available resources. This year’s Global Essay Competition asks the entrants to focus on a specific current or future shortage concern and provide an innovative solution.

Consider potential solutions creatively: do we need to strive for more and develop ways to increase the availability of the resource in question? Or does it concentrate on methods to flourish with less, thereby rethinking our wants and demands?
