Opportunity Description
Applications are open for the Queens Museum/QM-Jerome Foundation Fellowship Program for Emerging Artists. The one-year Fellowship will occur in New York City from January 2024 to January 2025.
QM-Jerome Foundation Fellowship will grant two visual artists fellowships and solo shows at the Queens Museum in 2025. Two visual artists will receive $20,000 in funding, plus an individual studio space at the Queens Museum, professional development consultations, and close mentorship from Q.M. staff members working on each artist’s project.
This year’s Open Call, in honor of the forthcoming 60th anniversary of the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair, seeks applications that respond to the complicated history of the Queens Museum site and Flushing Meadows Corona Park. A jury panel will evaluate all submissions based on the criteria. The jury will consist of two guest jurors and the curatorial staff of the Queens Museum.
