The Lululemon Centre for Social Impact excitingly announces the launch of its annual application for the Here to Be grant. The Center invests in community resilience and supports local organizations worldwide through the Here to Be grant. This grant creates inclusive access to mental, physical, and social well-being.

The Here to Be grant seeks applications from organizations that create equity in well-being, lead community and serve populations most impacted by systemic inequity. This year, the Center also funds organizations contributing to a healthy planet to have collective well-being.

Organizations can apply for a maximum 50,000 USD in general operating support through the Here to Be Grant. The requested amount should not exceed 40% of an organization’s operating budget. Selected organizations will receive the Donor-Advised Fund at Charities Aid Foundation America (CAF America) grant.

Organizations best suited for the Here to Be grant are those eliminating challenges and barriers to well-being in their communities. Organizations may apply different approaches to achieve this work result, such as offering culturally sensitive programming, expanding financial accessibility, building community-driven solutions, or advocating for systemic change.

  • Physical Well-being: Feeling empowered.
  • Mental Well-being: Feeling emotionally prepared.
  • Social Well-being: Feeling connected to others.

About the Lululemon Centre

The Lululemon Centre for Social Impact is tackling the barriers that prevent access to well-being. The Centre leverages its expertise, resources, and communities to invest and advocate for the well-being of the most impacted people by systemic inequity. This effort is going forward via guidance to impact 10 million people by 2025 positively. The primary goal of the Lululemon Centre for Social Impact is to disrupt inequity in well-being.

The Lululemon Centre for Social Impact’s main activities is investing in local community resilience, scaling through partnerships, research, advocacy, philanthropy, and building internal capacity.

Grant and Benefit

The applicant organizations can apply for a maximum of 50,000 USD in general operating support through the Here to Be Grant. Eligibility Criteria

Here to Be Grant applications are open to organizations that meet the following requirements:

  • Organizations should be non-profit or charity registered organizations or fiscally restive sponsorship by one
  • It should be a community-led organization serving the most impacted populations by systemic inequity
  • Be operating in Australia, Canada, China Mainland, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, India, Ireland, Japan, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA, or Vietnam
  • Working toward accessing physical, mental, and social well-being
  • The organization’s annual budget must be less than USD 2 million
  • The Centre welcomes applications from organizations working at the intersection of environment and well-being.

What the Centre DOES NOT Fund?

lululemon Centre does not accept applications from the following people:

  • Individuals, groups with political or religious affiliations, or third-party fundraising groups
  • One-time events, workshops, sporting events, or retreats
  • Community clinics and health services receiving direct payment for services in any form
  • Incentives for government officials
  • Multi-year programs
  • Impact-minded businesses or social ventures
  • Budget for Lululemon product
  • Interest-bearing accounts, real estate, endowments, or any other similar capital assets
  • Equipment or other assets with a value of 5,000 USD or more
  • Organizations solely focus on planetary health rather than on the well-being and intersection of the environment
  • Organizations with yearly operating budgets of more than 10 million USD
