How to Apply?

• Interested and eligible applicants should send an application file with the following elements to GEO’s editorial staff in order to present your project:
  • A concise CV (up to 1 page)
  • A one-page cover letter
  • A synopsis of the proposed topic
• The selection committee will look at all topics that are often covered by GEO, including geopolitics, peoples and societies, environments, and the discovery of new territories.
• Following receipt of the files, the GEO editor-in-chief will chair the selection committee, which will begin with a preliminary file-based sorting. The selection committee will choose the initiatives that best fit GEO’s editorial line and its readers’ information from among those that receive the highest ratings. These will then be put up to the jury, who will select the best one.
• Before beginning to work on their project, the winner will be asked to participate in briefings with the editorial team. He will work his angle with the head of the picture department or a GEO department.
