Opportunity Description
Fellowship for Southeast and East Asian Professionals by Atlas Corps accepts applications. The Atlas Corps Fellowship for Southeast & East Asian Professionals is looking for emerging leaders from Southeast Asia and East Asia for 12-month US-based and 14-month Blended Fellowships in the United States. Atlas Corps Fellows work full-time with mission-driven organizations to learn best practices, strengthen organizational capacity, and return home to build a global network of leaders. This initiative will assist organizations based in the United States in incorporating a regional perspective into their programming and operations.

Fellowship Duration: 12 to 14 months
Eligible Countries: Brunel, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam

- Communication / Digital Marketing
- Partnership Building / Business Development
- Monitoring and Evaluation / Data Analysis
- Operations / Human Resources
- Project / Program Management
Benefits of Atlas Corps Fellowship:
- International travel as part of the program
- Domestic travel related to the program
- New injuries and illnesses are covered by basic health insurance (or funds to purchase basic health insurance)
- Monthly stipend to cover the Fellow’s basic living expenses in the city where he or she is stationed (food, shared housing, local transportation, and a phone plan)
- Getting a Job with a Host Organization
- Documentation (DS-2019) allows the Fellow to apply for a J-1 visa.
- Atlas Corps will fund the technology necessary for Fellows serving in the Blended Fellowship to complete Host Organization requirements online from their home countries.
- Participation in the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab is a great way to learn more about how to be a better leader (leadership development training series)
More benefits:
- Fellows will take part in the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab professional development series to improve their leadership skills and network with Atlas Corps Fellows worldwide.
- There are also opportunities to participate in group cultural activities such as a Monuments Tour of Washington, D.C., sporting events, U.S. holiday celebrations, etc.
- Alumni will join the Atlas Corps group of 1200 rising leaders from 112 countries and make connections with peers during the Fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants for this Fellowship must possess a bachelor’s degree
- Have a strong command of the English language
- Be committed to applying their knowledge in their home country or region after the program
- Be under the age of 35
- Candidates must also have 2 years of experience in the skills mentioned above and primary citizenship in one of the countries mentioned.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work comfortably with people from all over the world, as well as the ability to work with a variety of working styles
