Organization Description

Founded in 2013, the Solutions Journalism Network (SJN) is a non-profit and independent organization that advocates an approach to solutions journalism. Solutions Journalism is an evidence-based mode of reporting on the responses to social problems.
David Bornstein, Tina Rosenberg, and Courtney E. Martin founded the Solutions Journalism Network (SJN) in 2003. Today, its staff in California, New York City, and Oakland help journalists and news organizations across the country value, understand, and build the capacity to do solutions-oriented reporting.
