Organization Description

The Goethe Institute is a non-profit German cultural association with 159 institutes worldwide that promotes German language study abroad and encourages international cultural interaction and partnerships. Every year, around 246,000 people enroll in these German courses. The Goethe Institute promotes German understanding by giving information about German culture, society, and politics. This includes the interchange of films, music, plays, and books. For more than 60 years, Goethe cultural clubs, reading rooms, and examination and language institutes have played a part in Germany’s cultural and educational programs.
