Organization Description

Globethics, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is a global NGO promoting ethical leadership through education and international collaboration. Established in 2004 by ethics professor Christoph Stückelberger, it operates as an independent, non-profit foundation with a diverse international board and affiliated centers worldwide.

With a mission to foster inclusivity across various cultural, religious, philosophical, and humanist ethical perspectives, Globethics serves as a conduit for dialogue and knowledge exchange on moral issues. It began as an online platform for sharing resources and addressing societal challenges.

Over the years, Globethics has expanded its reach and impact, growing its network of participants and partners. Its initiatives include the development of a leading digital library on ethics, a multilingual publishing house, accredited online courses, and regional representations in Asia, Africa, and South America. Additionally, Globethics organizes events like the Global Ethics Forum and engages in research, training, and capacity-building projects.
