How to Apply?

To apply, follow the below steps:

  • Step 1: Determination of eligibility
    • They strongly recommend that you explore the following tools to ascertain whether your program aligns with Cisco’s vision, strategic approach, and grant support objectives before devoting time to a submission. Funding consideration is limited to initiatives that are ideally aligned.
    • Please do not hesitate to contact them with your ideas. They provide two paths: one for for-profit climate investments and another for funding requests from all NPOs and NGOs.

Kindly select the most suitable route for your idea:

    • Please fill out their inquiry form by clicking the apply now button below, if you are interested in making a for-profit investment in climate impact and regeneration.
    • Please complete their eligibility exam to submit a nonprofit grant request for economic empowerment, disaster response, education, and climate change.
  • Step 2: Submission of Letter of Inquiry (LOI):
    • Eligible businesses will receive an invitation to sign up and finish the online LOI. This form asks for specific details about your organization, the population you serve, the program you plan to sponsor, and your budget. Your responses will dictate whether or not you receive an invitation to submit a detailed proposal. They advise you to study their investment categories and policies before completing the form.
    • Sending in a letter of intent does not ensure that your company will be asked to submit a complete proposal. The Cisco Foundation and Cisco review the forms at their own discretion. It could take up to three months for the review process.
  • Step 3: Invitation to submit full proposal (where applicable):
    • A Cisco grant administrator will encourage you to submit a complete proposal if they find that your organization’s program is in line with Cisco’s purpose, strategic approach, and grant assistance objectives. You will hear from a grant administrator if they require any additional information. Their decision about your proposal should reach you in a single business quarter.
