Organization Description

Walk · listen · create (WLC) is a hub for walking artists and artist walkers, hosting events like Sound Walk September, the Sound Walk September Awards, the Marŝarto Awards, and Placecloud. WLC’s focus spans sound, place, and technology, using tools ranging from mobile phones to pen & paper and even rocks.

WLC is particularly interested in sound walks, which are celebrated annually through the Sound Walk September festival. The organization officially became an NGO in Belgium in 2021, though it originated in 2019 with the first Sound Walk in September, following Sound Walk Sunday 2017.
