Organization Description

The University of San Diego (USD) is a San Diego-based private Roman Catholic research university. The academic institutions combined in 1972 to form the University of San Diego, which began as the autonomous San Diego College for Women and San Diego University (which included the College for Men and School of Law). The Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science, School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES), the Knauss School of Business, and the Division of Professional and Continuing Education are among the university’s nine undergraduate and graduate schools.
