University of Central Asia UCA, a treaty between the governments of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, as well as His Highness the Aga Khan, established UCA in 2000.
In the year 2000, the University of Central Asia (UCA) was established. The Presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, as well as His Highness the Aga Khan, signed an international treaty and charter establishing this secular and private university, which was confirmed by the individual parliaments and registered with the UN.
