Organization Description

The King Baudouin Foundation (KBF) is a Brussels-based independent, pluralistic foundation (Belgium). It invests in inspiring ideas and individuals in order to influence society for the better.
The Foundation was founded in 1976 to commemorate King Baudouin’s 25th year in power, and it has been under the honorary presidency of Queen Mathilde since 2015.
The Foundation funds projects in Belgium, as well as across Europe and internationally. The KBF established a US public charity and a New York City office to promote its international aim. The KBFUS has been facilitating generosity in the United States, Europe, and Africa since 1999. KBFCanada was established in 2017.
