Organization Description

Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) was established on September 14, 2011 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The main reason for establishing the Agency was to support the efforts of the international community in addressing social problems around the world. The Republic of Azerbaijan’s dynamic economic development over the last decade has allowed it to transition from a recipient of foreign aid to a donor country. AIDA has been committed to the principles of collaboration, efficiency, transparency, and equality of rights in providing aid to foreign countries since its inception, and it organizes its activities in two directions: humanitarian aid and international development assistance.
