Organization Description
Today, more than half of our students live and study outside of Afghanistan, at the American University of Iraq Sulaimani in Kurdistan, the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, and Bard College in the United States, or they live independently and study online from all over the world.
Nonetheless, we are fully aware of the hazards and obstacles that those students, professors, staff, and alumni who remain in Afghanistan confront on a daily basis. We are working nonstop to bring everyone to safety.
The establishment of AUAF’s new branch campus in Doha; the launch of an ambitious new institute for Afghanistan research and teaching at the Venice International University campus on the Island of San Servolo; and the expansion of online programs to reach students within Afghanistan’s borders and around the world are all planned for the coming year.
