Opportunity Description

University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) in Canada is open for application in 2024-2025. To acknowledge and promote academic brilliance, the University provides over $2 million in graduate fellowships to full-time master’s and PhD students each year.

The grants are available to Master’s and doctoral applicants with exceptional intellectual capacity and academic achievement. For a UMGF, students must be referred by their department or unit to the FGS (Faculty of Graduate Studies). The UMGF does not apply to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Finance (MFin), or Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) degrees because they do not include a research/thesis component.
