Opportunity Description
The UNEP/UN Volunteers Young Talent Pipeline 2023 is now accepting applications. In collaboration with UNV, UNEP is actively seeking the organization’s first cohort of young, motivated, and competent individuals from underrepresented parts of the world to join the organization and become tomorrow’s environmental leaders.
Energetic minds with three years of experience and a desire to advance UNEP’s solutions to the triple global problems of biodiversity loss, climate change, and waste and chemical pollution are urged to apply.
Early career professionals will contribute to the cutting edge of UNEP’s mandate through this Young Talent Pipeline. Successful applicants will be headquartered at UNEP’s Nairobi headquarters, and assignments will begin in September/October 2023 and run for 12 months, with the potential of extension.

Eligibilities
- Candidates must be citizens of a country other than the Kenya.
- Be between the ages of 27 and 80.
- Candidates must be fluent in English.
- Applicants must have appropriate degrees, three years of professional experience, and a strong commitment to UNEP’s goal.
- Women and members of underrepresented groups are especially urged to apply.
