Opportunity Description

Swarovski Foundation Creatives for Our Future is a worldwide mentoring and grant initiative established in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships to discover and accelerate the next generation of creative sustainability leaders.
Swarovski Foundation Creatives for Our Future expands on the Swarovski Foundation’s purpose of fostering and supporting cultural, educational, and advocacy collaborations addressing human rights and environmental challenges, inequality, and well-being. They intend to empower the next generation of creative talent in order to unleash imaginative new responses to our global sustainability concerns and accelerate progress toward the SDGs (SDGs).

Successful applicants will receive:

  • financial assistance combined with an education curriculum developed in conjunction with premier international universities,
  • customized mentorship,
  • Industry networking opportunities with guidance from the Swarovski Foundation.
  • The six selected applicants will be expected to attend a series of activities in New York from September 12 to September 16, 2022, as part of the United Nations General Assembly.

Eligibility

  • Open to all creatives worldwide between the ages of 21 and 30 at the time of application from fields such as fashion, design, art, architecture, and engineering – with no restrictions on creative medium,
  • Candidates should have a strong desire to use the creative process to advance awareness, technology, or solutions for sustainable development, as well as a shown or outstanding ability to do so.
  • Throughout the program, grantees are required to complete their innovations outlined in their applications and drive progress toward the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

  6. Are you be able to commit to the program schedule from September 2022 until the end of the program in April 2023?
