The University of Valencia Located in Spain, is offering scholarships for Afghan women to facilitate access and admission to the University of valencia and to help those who face the exceptional situation of being at risk of not being able to pursue their studies.

Number of scholarships: 2 (the number may be increased)

Application period: March 12- December 31, 2022

Scholarship benefits: 

• 15000 Euros for each woman that includes the following:
  • Training course fees  and registration fees for a Spanish course
  • Travel: round trip air fare in tourist class from the country of residence to the city of Valencia.
  • Accommodation and meals 
  • Insurance 
  • Pocket money of 800 euros for urban transport and academic material expenses
• Duration: 1 year

Who can apply? 

• be an Afghan women
• Have had studies or professional work interrupted as a result of the current situation in Afghanistan.

• then a form will be provided to complete and send to the university. Subsequently, you will receive an invitation email to complete the registration process. if you need help, the instruction will be found here
• After completing registration process, you may submit your application at the E registry of the University of Valencia at this link

Required documents: 

• Passport
• Report issued by the person representing the Faculty of Law or the Institute of Human Rights of the University of Valencia, stating the legitimacy of the award of the scholarship and that the applicant meets the requirements to be a beneficiary of the scholarship regulated in this call.
