Applications are now open for the South Asia Postgraduate Excellence Award 2025, organized and funded by the University of Nottingham. The scholarship is for tuition fees for master’s students who live in a South Asian eligible country, as listed below. Therefore, qualified students are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date.

Benefits

• The scholarship winner will receive an amount of 4,000 pounds or 8,000 toward tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scholarship, the applicants:

• Must be a resident of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka
• Must be classified as an international student for fee purposes;
• Must have an offer to start a full-time master’s (including MRes) in any subject area listed above at the University of Nottingham UK in 2025-26.

Scholarship Requirnments:

• You can apply without accepting your offer, but only admitted students will receive the scholarship.
• Application results will be confirmed by the end of June 2025.
• The scholarship is deducted from tuition fees and not paid directly to students.
• You cannot combine this scholarship with other University of Nottingham scholarships; the highest-value award will apply.
• Only self-funded students are eligible; externally sponsored students cannot apply.

• The reason why you decided to study a course at the University of Nottingham;
• Details of predicted grades (if applicable).
