Opportunity Description

Scholarships from SECAI were established to help deserving students planing to attend Leipzig University or TU Dresden to study AI or a related subject. AI is considered an interdisciplinary endeavor requiring skills from the natural sciences, computer science, engineering, mathematics, social science, law, and application areas like medical. In order to enable students to concentrate on their studies, launch their research careers, and expand their professional networks, the scholarships pay living expenses in Germany.

The primary criteria for the scholarship are academic achievement, but it also seeks to increase diversity and globalization in courses on artificial intelligence. They especially encourage women studying STEM fields to apply. Particular personal circumstances are considered, such as when students are refugees from conflict or are routinely persecuted or disadvantaged in their home countries.
