Opportunity Description
Every year, the RSTMH Early Career Grants Programme grants individuals from all over the world who are just starting out in their careers to conduct their first research project in tropical medicine or global health.
Instead of using a definition centered on certain jobs, qualifications held, or age to maintain equity and fairness of opportunity, RSTMH decided to provide guidelines regarding the applicant’s profile that may be eligible for an Early Career Grant.
Since it was first launched more than 40 years ago, its awards program has grown significantly. Since 2017, they have awarded over 800 prizes in 66 countries.
If you are a researcher or a global health practitioner who is just starting in your research career and is interested in or employed in tropical medicine or international health, you are qualified to apply for a grant.
