Opportunity Description

The Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management (KDI School) is happy to invite policymakers, academics, and professionals to submit papers for an upcoming conference on the topic of development cooperation.

The third annual Frontiers in Development Policy (FDP) Conference is now accepting papers on eight subjects, including a special theme of “History and Future Direction of Development Policy Research,” to celebrate the KDI School’s 25th anniversary.

In 2020, the first FDP Conference was held to give an in-depth discussion on global development policy by experts and professionals from critical international development organizations. The goal of the FDP Conferences is to communicate scientific and policy research results on a wide range of development topics.

It will give a framework for exploring the complicated processes of the global economic market and for debating policies and activities to formulate and implement high-quality development policies.

About KDI School of Public Policy and Management:

The Korean government established the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in 1997  to educate and develop the next generation of leaders in today’s fast-changing and globalizing economy. KDI School is a leading graduate school in public policy, development policy, and public management. Its goal is to develop mid-career professionals into leaders in their areas by providing them with new information, vision, and a global perspective.

Date of Notification of Submitted Papers’ Results: Before 12 August 2022

Event Date: 12-13 October 2022

Conference Location:  In-person and will continue to monitor the COVID-19. Depending on the situation closer to the time of the event, the conference may be performed in a hybrid style or completely online.
