Opportunity Description

The DeepMind Scholarship program at the Queen Mary University of London applications is now open to international students. The program aims to promote and support under-represented groups to pursue postgraduate degrees in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning for visual data analytics, and computer games. Preferences will go to the black or female students for scholarships since they are under-represented in these fields of study.

Each DeepMind Scholarship will offer the students full financial support, covering their cost of tuition, a living allowance, a travel grant, and an equipment allowance. The students will also receive support from a DeepMind mentor and opportunities to attend DeepMind events and leading AI academic conferences.

The Queen Mary University of London will provide the DeepMind Scholarship beneficiaries with the following benefits:

  • The scholarship will cover the cost of £12,250 (£28,950 for international students).
  • The tuition charge for out-of-country students is € 27,250.
  • A living cost of £15,480
  • A £2,200 annual travel scholarship
  • One-time award of £1,700 for equipment

Eligibility Criteria for the DeepMind Scholarship

All applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for this Scholarship opportunity:

  • Preferences go to female or black ethnicity students that counted as under-represented groups in the field of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
