Opportunity Description

Pernod Ricard, in partnership with One Young World, is offering a fully funded scholarship for young leaders committed to creating safe, inclusive, and responsible social spaces. This initiative aims to address social isolation and harmful drinking while promoting moderation and mindful socialization.

The scholarship will support 10 outstanding young leaders working to foster positive social environments and tackle alcohol-related harm in their communities. Selected scholars will receive full funding to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany (November 3-6, 2025).

As part of Pernod Ricard’s delegation, scholars will engage in high-impact discussions, shape interventions at the Summit, and receive expert mentorship. After the summit, they will contribute to collective thinking sessions on the future of socialization, ensuring long-term impact.

Eligibility Criteria

Ideal candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must have a passion for promoting responsible drinking and reducing harmful alcohol consumption.
  • Actively engaged in initiatives supporting moderation, consumer awareness, or community well-being.
  • Professionals in hospitality (bartenders, bar managers, restaurant owners) with initiatives on responsible drinking.
  • Individuals working on creating inclusive, safe, and socially engaging spaces.
  • Involvement in projects focused on:
    • Alcohol harm prevention and education.
    • Reducing social harm related to excessive drinking.
    • Strengthening community bonds and social inclusion.
    • Enhancing safety in social settings.
    • Researching Gen Z habits, social trends, and alcohol’s role in socializing.
  • Must be of legal drinking age in their country of residence.
  • Available to participate in post-summit discussions with other scholarship recipients.

Post-Summit Engagement

Selected scholars will participate in post-summit sessions to explore responsible drinking challenges and solutions. These discussions, featuring guest speakers, will offer a platform for idea-sharing, collaboration, and mentorship.
