Opportunity Description
Each year, the UN Foundation gathers a small group of young changemakers and offers them a platform to address some of the issues confronting young people, connect with other young thinkers and activists, and collaborate with leaders from across the world. In the same manner, The UN Secretary-General highlighted the rising importance of young people as a focus of worldwide collective action and as shapers of the international system in “Our Common Agenda”. The Secretary-General views the restoration of generational solidarity as a vital basis for the implementation of all of his proposals in this new framework.
Over the next three years, the intern will work with the flagship initiative “Our Future Agenda”, which aims to provide young people with new leadership opportunities, build a high-ambition coalition of youth-led and youth-focused organizations, and deliver impact with and for young people and future generations.
