Opportunity Description
The Melbourne Humanitarian Access Scholarship is now open for applications from around the world. This scholarship supports talented international students who have applied for asylum in Australia and wish to pursue undergraduate or graduate coursework degrees at the University of Melbourne.
The scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees for the full-time duration of the course and provides a living allowance of $5,000 per year, paid in two installments. At least eight scholarships are available, each lasting one year or more, depending on the length of study.
To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of countries other than Australia and New Zealand, currently residing in Australia with a temporary or permanent humanitarian visa, and meet the entry requirements for their chosen degree.

Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
Application requirements are as follows:
- Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia
- Must be currently in Australia
- Must have applied for or hold a temporary or permanent Australian humanitarian visa
- Must have applied for and met entry requirements for an overseas student place in undergraduate or graduate coursework degree at the University of Melbourne
