Opportunity Description

The Meaningful Business 100 (MB100) Award Program, which honors leaders worldwide who combine profit and purpose to advance the UN Global Goals, is now accepting nominations for its fourth edition. The one-year award program, which EY and Hogan Lovells sponsor, aims to maximize the beneficial impact of winners through specialized workshops, mentoring, storytelling, and unique networking opportunities. The MB100, which consists of social entrepreneurs, sustainability leaders, and impact investors, transcends industries, roles, and company sizes to highlight extraordinary work being done to address the most pressing issues of the time.

Eligibility Criteria:

Each leader must have:

  • In the last 12 months, the leader must have created a planned, positive impact aligned with one or more SDGs.
  • Been the impetus behind the idea, product, or service that blends profit and meaning.

Nomination Requirements:

  • Respond to application question
  • 2 minutes video telling about yourself, your work, the biggest challenge you faced last year, and how you overcame it.
  • Any additional information, including testimonials, awards, and media coverage, you believe will support your nomination.

Judging Criteria:

The judges will take into account the following:

  • The originality of the concept behind the product, service, or project
  • Product, service, or project longevity
  • How successfully does the product impact several SDGs, according to intersectionality?
  • Does the product or service give local communities more control over their lives through localization?
  • Product, service, or project scalability: Can it be duplicated?
  • Is there a focus on minority group representation in terms of inclusion?
  • Collaboration: Has the leader encouraged cooperation between various stakeholders and used their core competencies best?
  • Affordability – how much money was needed to purchase the good or service? (Products or services with low investment but a significant impact will be encouraged.)
  • Utilizing creativity and technology to power a project, product, or service
  • Is the leader an example and advocate for meaningful business outside their organization?
