Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) provides partially and fully funded scholarships to international students. KUAS assists extraordinary international students worldwide with their studies, detailed research, and groundbreaking innovation every year.
KUAS, Japan, currently offers Scholarships for International Students for full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. degree programs. KUAS now provides two categories of international scholarships. These scholarships will cover the expenses of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in part or in full. International Students can apply for the Kyoto University of Advanced Science Scholarship (Super KUAS-E Scholarship and KUAS-E Scholarship) 2025 in Japan.

Benefits of Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) Scholarships:
The Kyoto University of Academic Science offers two types of scholarships in Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees:
1. Super KUAS-E Scholarship:
- Stipend (for personal expenses) 1,200,000 JPY per year
- Tuition fee exemption (100%)
- Admission fee exemption (100%)
Super KUAS-E Scholarship:
- Stipend: 1,200,000 JPY per year (600,000 JPY per semester; 100,000 JPY/month)
- Tuition Fee Exemption: 100%
- Admission Fee Exemption: 100%
KUAS-E Scholarship (Three Levels):
Level I:
- Tuition Fee Exemption: 100%
- Admission Fee Exemption: 100%
Level II:
- Tuition Fee Reduction: 50%
- Admission Fee Reduction: 50%
Level III:
- Tuition Fee Reduction: 30%
- Admission Fee Reduction: 30%
Note: Tuition includes facility and laboratory fees. Recipients of the top-tier scholarships are required to pay an enrollment deposit, which is refunded after semester commencement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- KUAS Scholarships are open to international students from all over the world.
- Applicants must be applying to enroll in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program at KUAS
- Demonstrate outstanding academic performance in the application process
- Indicate intent to apply for the scholarship in the “Scholarship” section of the TAO application platform
- Maintain high academic standards and positive conduct throughout the program to retain the scholarship
