The Knight Hennessy Scholarships offer 100 Fully Funded Scholarships at Stanford University for International Students and U.S. citizens to study for the 2026 DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PhD at Stanford University, one of the leading universities in the world. All expenses will be covered under Knight Hennessy Scholarships.

Benefits
The following are the benefits of the programs:
- The scholars will receive a grant of up to three years, commencing from the date of admission and selection.
- Full tuition and associated fees (covered by fellowship)
- Living and academic stipend (includes housing, meals, books, supplies, transportation, and personal expenses)
- Annual travel stipend for one round-trip economy-class ticket to/from Stanford
- One-time relocation stipend for newly enrolling scholars (for moving and technology expenses)
- Supplemental academic enrichment funding (conference travel, etc.) is available in the second and third years
- Potential additional second graduate financing programs (not guaranteed, subject to approval)
- For programs exceeding three years (e.g., PhD, MD, dual degrees), funding aligns with the standard commitment of the admitting department
Eligibility Criteria
All applicants should meet the following criteria:
- The application is open to applicants of any age, nationality, university, field of study, or career goal
- No institutional endorsements or quotas by discipline or region required
- You must be accepted to and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate program (e.g., PhD, MD, JD, MA, MS, MBA, MPP, MFA, DMA). You must meet one of the following:
- Applying to both KHS and a Stanford program to begin in the same year
- Already deferred admission to Stanford and applying to KHS to start both together
- A current Stanford grad student applying to add another full-time program and KHS
- A first-year Stanford PhD student applying to KHS to begin in year two
Ineligible Stanford Programs
- Honors Cooperative Program
- Master of Liberal Arts
- Doctor of Science of Law (JSD) and Master of Legal Studies (MLS)
- Coterminal graduate study
- Adding MA/MS to a current Stanford PhD in the same field

- Tell them about a time when you: a) made someone proud of you, b) faced a significant challenge or c) fell short of expectations. (A total of 150 words is allowed)
- Tell them about eight improbable facts about yourself (facts that are unlikely but true). (A total of 150 words is allowed)
